MacKellar has been supporting Australia’s mining and civil projects for over 50 years, delivering large‑scale earthmoving services backed by a modern fleet, a strong safety culture, and a genuine focus on its people. We’re currently growing our Nyngan operations and are seeking experienced multi‑skilled operators.

About the Role

You’ll be part of a production team working across a busy mining environment where safety and efficiency are priorities. Day‑to‑day tasks include:

- Operating production equipment including dozers and haul trucks, with potential exposure to graders and water carts depending on site needs
- Supporting production targets through safe and efficient machine operation
- Completing basic operator inspections and reporting faults or maintenance issues




- Working collaboratively with other operators and supervisors to keep operations running smoothly

What You Bring

- Minimum 12 months recent experience operating dozers and haul trucks in a mining environment (essential)
- Additional exposure to mobile plant such as graders, loaders, water carts or excavators (highly regarded)
- A strong commitment to safe work practices and site compliance
- A reliable, steady approach to work with solid communication skills
- A team‑first mindset and willingness to contribute across tasks on site
