Maitland Contracting are a leading company in civil construction with over 20 years in the industry, based in Clare SA. We specialise in Horizontal Directional Drilling, Vacuum Excavation and Traditional Excavation, Civil Construction and Telecom Infrastructure Installation.
An exciting opportunity has become available for an immediate start to join our Drill team.
You will be lead by an experienced and motivated Drill Supervisor.
This is a South Australian based position with regional travel.
The successful candidate will possess the below skills, attributes and experience;
- White Card.
- Truck license, minimum MR
- Experience operating and tracking a
Ditch Witch (JT3020) All Terrain
- Experience in operation of vacuum excavation units, mud recycling plants, mixing systems and excavators.
- A strong background in the use of all tracking devices specifically Digi Track.
- Problem solving skills and initiative.
- Team player.
- The ability to travel when required.
- Safe set up of job sites.
- Interpret DBYD plans and locating underground assets.
- Completing JSEA / Pre-Start forms.
- Operation of directional drills, vacuum excavation units, mud recycling plants, mixing systems and excavators.
The successful applicant with relevant experience and skill set will be offered;
