About The Role
As a member of this team, you will work as a Workday Implementation expert delivering technology solutions that help organisations realise the power of integrated, cloud-based capabilities and drive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, strategise, and manage Workday integration landscapes for organisations across the globe.
- Design and deliver future‑ready integration solutions with Workday to optimise HR and Finance functions and enhance employee experiences.
- Collaborate with functional leads to conduct working sessions with clients, gather, understand, and analyse business requirements.
- Comprehend data integrations from point‑to‑point systems and holistic interchange services to ensure effective data quality and dependable exchanges.
- Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating the Workday cloud application with external applications across HCM and Financial functional areas.
- Design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB, and supporting third‑party coding.
- Collaborate with clients and third parties to develop technical solutions that support business processes.
- Follow the strategic direction set by client leadership when establishing Workday project goals.
- Deliver shared objectives with client counterparts, including design and build activities.
- Timely identify and escalation of risks and develop alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary.
- Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
Your Skills and Qualifications
- Previous integration design and build experience in a cloud SaaS environment.
- Self‑starter with proven ability to work within a team‑oriented environment.
- 2+ years of experience in HRIS or Finance; experience in integration development for SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar applications.
- 3+ years’ experience in the application of modern integration technologies (EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .Net, middleware).
- Ability to work in a quick‑paced environment and adapt to frequent change.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% (if required).
Additional Preferred Attributes
- Willingness to travel within COVID guidelines.
- Workday Integration certified, preferably with Studio certification.
- 2+ years’ previous consulting experience or congruent professional experience as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company.
- 2–5 years’ experience in Workday implementations (either as a customer or an implementation partner).
Mandatory Requirements
- Australian citizen with current or ability to gain baseline security clearance.
