Consultant Arborist

Nuleaf Tree Services has been delivering professional arboricultural services across Victoria for almost 30 years. As our consultancy division continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Consultant Arborist to join our team.

This is an opportunity to become part of a well established business that is investing heavily in its consulting services. You'll have the flexibility to work from home (report writing days) while being supported by an experienced operations team, modern technology and a respected field arboriculture business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys producing high quality technical work while also building long term relationships with clients.

About the Role

You will work on a variety of projects across residential, commercial, local government and infrastructure sectors providing professional services including:

- Preliminary arboricultural reports (PAR)

- Arboricultural Impact Assessments (AIA)

- Tree Protection Plans (TPP) and Tree Protection Specifications (TPS)

- Tree Risk Assessments

- Project Arborist inspections and supervision tasks

- Development planning advice

- Client and stakeholder liaison

- Site inspections throughout metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria

About You

You will ideally have:

- AQF Level 5 Diploma in Arboriculture (or higher)

- A minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Consultant Arborist

- Strong understanding of Australian Standards (AS4970 and AS4373)

- Knowledge of Victorian planning requirements relating to trees (desirable)

- Exceptional report writing skills,



and can use Excel, Word and PDF Editor

- Excellent communication and client relationship skills

- Current Victorian Driver's Licence

- TRAQ, QTRA or similar risk assessment qualifications (desirable)

- Experience using GIS, Nearmap or CAD software (desirable)

- Strong tree identification knowledge
