Join Our Team – Operations & Area Management

We are looking for experienced and motivated Operations Managers and Area Managers to lead commercial cleaning operations across Sydney. The role is ideal for professionals with strong operational management, people leadership, and client relationship skills who are passionate about delivering exceptional service and driving business growth.

Role Overview

As an Operations or Area Manager you will oversee multiple commercial cleaning contracts, lead supervisors and site teams, ensure operational efficiency, maintain high-quality service standards, and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

Working closely with Cleaning Supervisors, Team Leaders, and senior management, you will ensure contracts are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with client expectations. Every day presents new challenges, from coordinating staffing requirements and conducting site inspections to resolving client concerns and identifying opportunities for service improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Managing commercial cleaning contracts across Sydney
- Conducting operational site inspections
- Monitoring contract performance and service quality
- Supporting Cleaning Supervisors and Team Leaders
- Managing operational budgets and resources
- Ensuring contractual obligations are achieved
- Reviewing productivity and operational efficiency
- Monitoring equipment and cleaning supply requirements
- Implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Preparing operational reports for senior management
- Coordinating workforce allocation, scheduling site visits, and conducting quality inspections across multiple sites
- Resolving operational issues and maintaining company standards at all locations
- Maintaining client relationships through regular meetings, performance discussions, and timely response to concerns

Workforce Planning

- Staff scheduling and coordination of workforce coverage




- Recruitment support and assistance with hiring activities
- Training support and employee development
- Performance reviews and recognition of high-performing team members
- Monitoring attendance and maintaining workforce reliability
- Resource planning and effective staff allocation

Business Development Support

Identify opportunities for service expansion, recommend service improvements, and support contract renewals and business development initiatives to strengthen client loyalty and drive long‑term growth.

Leadership & Strategy

Mentor Cleaning Supervisors, encourage teamwork, promote accountability, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Work with senior leadership to implement new processes, improve service delivery, enhance operational efficiency, and support organisational growth.

Qualifications

- Extensive experience in commercial cleaning, facilities management, or operations management
- Demonstrated leadership managing multiple sites, supervising teams, and maintaining client relationships
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills
- Financial awareness and capacity to manage budgets and resources
- Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
