Role Description

The Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Manager is a full time, on-site role based on Thursday Island, QLD.



The ICT Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of Council’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) environment, combining strategic ICT planning with direct hands-on operational support.

The role provides both strategic leadership and day-to-day technical service delivery to ensure secure, reliable and cost-effective ICT services that support Council’s operational and community objectives.

The position acts as Council’s primary technical specialist and is the key liaison with Council’s managed service provider, Fourier.
