Operations Coordinator (International Recruitment)

Full-time, Continuing position Salary Level HEW7 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements Based At the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working.

About You As an Operations Coordinator (International Recruitment), you are an enthusiastic, collaborative and solutions-focused professional who is passionate about supporting international student recruitment and contributing to RMIT’s global growth. You thrive in a dynamic and agile environment, using your strong organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills to deliver high-quality recruitment initiatives, projects and operational outcomes. With excellent communication, project management and stakeholder engagement skills, you confidently coordinate recruitment initiatives, projects and events while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. You embrace a data-informed approach, using market insights and performance metrics to identify opportunities, enhance recruitment performance and contribute to the achievement of RMIT’s international recruitment objectives.

To be successful in this position, you will have as a minimum:

- Demonstrated experience in coordinating and delivering student recruitment, marketing, events or stakeholder engagement activities, preferably within the higher education or international education sector.
- Proven ability to plan, manage and deliver multiple projects and activities simultaneously, balancing competing priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including prospective students, education agents, academic staff and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to provide accurate advice and information, interpret policies and procedures, and deliver high-quality customer service in a complex workplace.
- Experience coordinating events, campaigns or promotional activities, including logistics, stakeholder engagement and post-event evaluation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience collecting,



interpreting and reporting on data to support continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to develop and maintain effective administrative, governance and operational processes.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team, contributing to shared goals and fostering a positive team culture.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively utilise business systems, data and technology to coordinate recruitment activities, manage stakeholder engagement and support operational excellence.

Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.

The Global Student Recruitment Team leads all sales and direct marketing activities. It also includes international admissions activities, international student services, sponsorship development, and agent management.
