About the Opportunity;

We are partnering with a leading renewable energy organisation with a significant portfolio of utility-scale renewable energy assets across Australia.

As the renewable energy sector continues to grow, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Asset Manager to join a high-performing asset management team. This role offers exposure across a diverse portfolio of operating renewable energy assets and the prospect to work closely with technical, commercial, operations, engineering and investment professionals.

This position is ideal for candidates with 1-5 years of experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, engineering, asset management, consulting or related commercial roles who are looking to accelerate their career within the energy transition sector.

The Role;

You will support the management and optimisation of operational renewable energy assets by delivering commercial analysis, performance insights and stakeholder engagement activities.

About You;

You will be a highly organised and analytical professional who is passionate about renewable energy and infrastructure assets.

Key Responsibilities;

- Supporting the day-to-day management of renewable energy assets.
- Monitoring operational, technical and financial performance of assets.
- Preparing portfolio, investor, board and management reports.
- Assisting with budget development, forecasting and financial performance analysis.
- Supporting risk management activities and regulatory compliance obligations.
- Managing and monitoring contractor and O&M; service provider performance.
- Working closely with engineering,



operations and investment teams to maximise asset value.
- Analysing asset performance data and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Maintaining awareness of energy market developments, industry trends and policy changes.
- Supporting stakeholder engagement activities with contractors, regulators, landowners, financiers, investors and local communities.
- Contributing to sustainability and ESG initiatives across the asset portfolio.

Qualifications & Experience;

- Degree qualification in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Commerce or a related discipline.
- 1-5 years of experience within renewable energy, infrastructure, utilities, engineering consulting, asset management or related sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to interpret technical, operational and commercial data.
- Understanding of Australian energy markets and renewable energy technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
- Experience with utility-scale renewable energy projects.
- Exposure to financial modelling, valuation analysis or investment reporting.Understanding of operational infrastructure assets and asset lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of health, safety and environmental management systems.
