With 76 kindergartens and early learning services across Melbourne, our team of 1100+ dedicated people work together to create joyful and enriching learning experiences with the safeguarding of children at the centre of everything we do. This is a 12-month fixed-term position, offering 38 hours per week.



The role requires availability between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, and you'll be working across Brimbank and nearby suburbs. Plus, if your day involves travelling between locations, you might just get some extra love in the form of travel time compensation.

About you

- You're reflective, curious and purpose-led, with a deep commitment to making a difference.
- You're open to learning and understanding the unique needs of every child.
- You're a critical thinker and collaborative team member.




- You have a drive to grow and improve continually.
- You value kindness and respect.
- You have great knowledge of the child protected standards and early childhood regulations.
- You hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, a WWCC and a first aid certificate.
- You will hold a valid Australian Drivers licence

About the role

- You’ll create a safe and supportive environment where children can learn and grow.
- You’ll develop and implement engaging learning experiences based on the ECMS pedagogical framework.
- You’ll build strong relationships with children, families, the community and colleagues.
- You’ll actively participate in a culture of reflection and continuous improvement.
- The relief management team will be your central point of contact – ensuring you are informed of daily work locations and providing a source of support and guidance.
- You will be assigned to various ECMS sessional kindergartens offering you the opportunity to receive mentorship from multiple leadership teams, whilst maintaining a home service to foster a sense of belonging.
