We are looking to hire a customer focused and enthusiastic Payroll Analyst to join our Shared Services Centre in Parramatta. This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday in our modern office, which is located less than 10 minutes' walk from the nearest train station. You will be joining a robust team culture where personal and professional growth is valued and your contributions towards our success recognised.

As our Payroll Analyst, you'll be:

- Handling end-to-end weekly and monthly payroll processing (think super, tax, and leave payments etc).
- Keeping employee payroll records up-to-date.
- Supporting staff and management on payroll related queries.
- Interpreting awards, agreements, and contracts for overtime and shift allowances.
- Calculating and processing annual leave, LSL provisions/accruals and termination payments.
- Processing pay increases/changes and back pay calculations.
- Maintaining electronic employee files to meet legal requirements.
- Generating payroll reports to meet internal and statutory obligations.

To be successful in this role, we're looking for someone who has:

- At least 2 years of payroll experience.
- A degree or diploma in HR or Accounting (a big plus!).
- Intermediate skills with large payroll systems and MS Excel.
- SAP experience will also be highly regarded.
- A solid understanding of Australian legislation for PAYG Tax, Superannuation, and Payroll Tax and related compliance obligations.
- A team player attitude with a proven track record of collaboration.
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service and results.
- High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and organise your work to meet deadlines.
