Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Patient Services Assistants (PSA's) to join the Broadmeadows Surgical Centre team.

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.

Services are provided through our six main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals Centres and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.

About the Role:

This role is responsible for but not limited to:

- Patient transport to and from the theatre complex
- Stocking of linen
- Cleaning and preparing patient trolleys
- Collecting beds for patients post operatively
- Housekeeping duties
- Emptying linen skips
- Rubbish removal





To be successful in this role you will have:

- Experience and good working knowledge of patient transport equipment
- Proven ability to prioritise workload
- Demonstrated knowledge of theatre departments
- Well-developed communication skills
- Be patient focussed
- have good time management skills
- Must have 12 months experience working in a theatre environment (or similar) at the time of appointment
