Your responsibilities will include:
- Comprehensive physiotherapy assessments.
- Falls risk assessments and prevention programs.
- Mobility, gait and balance assessments.
- Strength and exercise prescription.
- Pain management and musculoskeletal treatment.
- Manual handling and transfer assessments.
- Equipment and mobility aid recommendations.
- Development of individualised treatment plans.
- Documentation and clinical reporting.
- Liaising with nursing staff, GPs, families and allied health professionals.
- Educating care staff to optimise resident outcomes.
- Contributing to quality improvement and best practice initiatives.out helping older Australians remain mobile, independent and engaged in everyday life.
About You
You are a caring clinician who enjoys building relationships and making a genuine difference in the lives of older people.
You will have:
- Current General AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Australian working rights (no sponsorship available for this role)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while being supported by an experienced clinical team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
