Network Engineer (Dispatch Role) on demand ticket based support

We are urgently looking for a Network Engineer for onsite dispatch support in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Job Description

- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls, and access points
- Perform onsite rack installation, cabling, and hardware replacement activities
- Execute configuration tasks using console access and remote management tools
- Troubleshoot network issues and perform root cause analysis (Layer 1–3 issues)
- Coordinate with remote engineering teams (e.g., Systal engineers) during deployment and fault resolution
- Conduct hardware health checks and preventive maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with site access, safety, and operational procedures
- Support migration, upgrade, and expansion projects for network infrastructure
- Document all activities,



configurations, and changes accurately in service management tools

Qualifications

- Robust understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching)

Tools and Safety Equipment for Network Engineer

- Laptop
- Communication software for interaction with Systal engineers
- Complete set of screwdrivers (to open the rack from the right side, check cable clearance, and remove the power supply using a screwdriver)
- Lift / Cherry picker (required as the switch is mounted ~25–30 feet above ground; customer confirmed this needs to be brought by the engineer)

- ABN number (document)
- Workers Compensation or Accident Insurance policy (document)
