Programmed Skilled Workforce is seeking energetic and customer-focused Sports & Events Officers to join our client's team at a busy sports and recreation facility.

If you enjoy variety, thrive and take pride in delivering great customer experiences, this could be the role for you. Every shift is different from welcoming sporting teams and assisting with community events to preparing venues and supporting the smooth operation of the facility.

About the Role

As a Sports & Events Officer, you'll play an important part in ensuring sporting competitions and community events run seamlessly.

- Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and assisting sporting groups, event participants and visitors
- Coordinating group arrivals, departures and venue activities
- Conducting client and group inductions
- Setting up and packing down sporting and event spaces
- Providing outstanding customer service and responding to enquiries
- Assisting with meal service coordination during events
- Completing general administration and operational tasks
- Maintaining the presentation, cleanliness and safety of the facility
- Reporting maintenance or safety concerns
- Assisting with emergency and incident response procedures when required





About You

We're looking for someone who is friendly, proactive and enjoys working with people.

You'll ideally have:

- Experience in customer service, hospitality, events, tourism, sport or recreation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude with the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings and public holidays

Essential Requirements

- Current Blue Card (mandatory)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate, or willingness to obtain
- Reliable transport and a strong commitment to workplace safety
- Current Valid Drivers License
