Grindels Plumbing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join our team at the Nifty Copper Mine on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth.

This is an initial short-term contract supporting village and camp maintenance, with the potential for extension based on operational requirements and performance. You’ll carry out a mix of preventative and reactive maintenance, ensuring essential plumbing services remain reliable across accommodation and site facilities.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Plumber, your responsibilities will include:

- Reactive and preventative plumbing maintenance

- Diagnosing and repairing water, sewer and drainage systems

- Maintenance of hot water systems, pumps, valves and fixtures

- General plumbing repairs throughout accommodation camps and site facilities

- Blocked drains and drainage investigations

- Installation and replacement of plumbing fixtures and pipework

- Completing work orders using electronic maintenance systems





- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and safety

- Working in accordance with site procedures and Australian Standards

- Participating in toolbox meetings and safety initiatives

About You

To be successful you will have:

- WA Plumbing Tradesperson Licence

- Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Manual preferred)

- White Card

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

- Solid fault-finding and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and within a team

- Excellent communication skills

- Commitment to workplace safety
