My client is looking for a HSEQ Manager to lead the development, implementation, and management of all aspects of health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) across multiple entities. This is a high-responsibility role that combines corporate services leadership with hands‑on project governance, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
The successful candidate will drive a robust safety culture, mitigate risks, ensure ISO/FSC accreditation across all systems, all while maintaining clear communication and relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement all company OHS documentation and protocols.
- Lead risk assessments and ensure effective risk management practices across the business and its entities.
- Oversee incident management and investigation processes.
- Partner with HR to coordinate OHS training and induction programs for employees and management.
- Drive Return to Work initiatives and manage workers' compensation claims.
- Engage with relevant governing authorities to ensure compliance with OHS regulations.
- Conduct and coordinate safety, quality, and environmental audits for project sites.
- Maintain and manage essential HSEQ databases, including training, incident logs, non-conformance reports, and risk registers.
- Support site safety officers with necessary documentation and reporting requirements.
- Prepare for and participate in internal ISO audits.
- Lead and manage ISO accreditation audits for the organization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders and organize key meetings as required.
Must Have:
- Proven experience in commercial construction industry.
- Proven experience working within a HSEQ Management capacity.
- In‑depth knowledge of OHS/WHS legislative framework, including relevant Acts, regulations, and risk management concepts.
- Strong understanding of ISO/FSC requirements.
- Experience in developing high-quality internal and external documentation.
- Exceptional communication skills.
