Level 4 - $107,204.10 per annum (incl $20,000 Port Hedland Allowance) + 12% Superannuation

Permanent | Full-Time | Site Based

The Role

The Town is seeking a Leading Hand - Works & Services to lead operational crews responsible for maintaining Town infrastructure assets and delivering operational and capital works projects. If you are an experienced leader with a background in civil works, maintenance, or infrastructure operations, we would love to hear from you!

Reporting to the Coordinator Works & Services, you'll coordinate day-to-day activities, support the delivery of works programs, mentor team members, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Key responsibilities include:

- Lead and supervise Works & Services crews, fostering a safe and productive team environment.
- Coordinate and deliver maintenance, operational, and capital works programs, ensuring projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Provide operational support and mentoring, including plant operation, workforce training, and day-to-day problem solving.
- Support planning, reporting, and compliance activities, including procurement, record keeping, works scheduling, and WHS requirements.

Work Related Requirements

The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:





- Demonstrated experience in civil works, construction, and maintenance activities, preferably at a supervisory level
- Current 'HR' class drivers license
- Skid steer, Excavator and Front Loader tickets
- National Police Clearance
- White Card
- Rights to work in Australia
