Resource Labour Hire is seeking Maintenance Fitter for an Engineering Company in Kilsyth. This position is contract with the potential of going permanent (Full time hours) - Immediate Start

- TFN / Casual - $52.50 per hour plus Superannuation and overtime rates

- Experience Maintenance Fitter - problem solver, machine operator and skilled.

The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring production equipment operates safely and efficiently while minimising downtime.

Your duties will include:

- Preventative and reactive maintenance on packaging machinery

- Fault finding and breakdown repairs

- Mechanical fitting, assembly and installation work

- Replacing bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps and motors

- Working closely with production to minimise downtime

- Assisting with continuous improvement projects





- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and adhering to safety procedures

About You

- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or Fitter & Turner

- Experience working in industrial fans, industrial machinery & equipment or manufacturing environments

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

- Experience with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, pneumatics and mechanical drives

- A proactive attitude with a strong commitment to safety

- Full Australian working rights
