About Watermark
For more than 25 years, Watermark has been a trusted name in Queensland’s insurance construction and repair industry, delivering high‑quality restoration works to homes and commercial properties across the state.
We specialise in repairing properties affected by insurable events such as fire, storm, flood, impact and malicious damage, working closely with insurers, loss adjusters and property owners.
Our work is about more than buildings – it is about helping people through stressful events and leaving them feeling heard, respected and confident in the outcome.
About the role
Due to continued growth in our insurance repair and commercial portfolio, we are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team on the Gold Coast.
You will take ownership of the full site‑based repair phase for multiple jobs – reviewing scopes, validating and refining repair methodologies, allocating trades, supervising works and ensuring every project is delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
While your core focus will be insurance building repairs, you will also be exposed to facilities maintenance and commercial works, giving you variety in the types of projects you manage.
This role will suit someone who enjoys autonomy, takes pride in getting the details right and values long‑term relationships with insurer clients, customers, subcontractors and colleagues.
Key responsibilities
· Manage allocated insurance repair projects and facilities maintenance works from pre‑start through to completion across the Gold Coast region.
· Act as the key point of contact on site for customers, clients, loss adjusters, trades and suppliers,
providing clear communication and excellent service.
· Review and confirm scopes of work, ensuring appropriate building methodology, cost effectiveness and compliance with the Building Code of Australia and relevant standards.
· Allocate, coordinate and supervise trades and subcontractors, supporting them to meet quality, safety and KPI requirements.
· Monitor budgets, variations and cost controls for each job, ensuring work is delivered within approved limits and variations are properly documented.
· Maintain accurate site records, photos and progress updates within our job management system in line with insurer and internal requirements.
· Be willing to assist during peak weather events when additional site support is required.
What we’re looking for
· Insurance repair experience is essential – you must have demonstrable experience delivering insurance building repairs (make‑safes, strip‑outs, reinstatement works) and working with insurers, loss adjusters or insurance repair builders.
· Facilities maintenance and/or commercial experience is highly desirable, particularly across occupied sites where stakeholder management is key.
· Minimum 1–2 years of site supervision experience in residential construction, renovations, insurance repair or facilities projects.
· Strong building knowledge with a practical understanding of construction methods, materials and defect rectification.
· A current QBCC Site Supervisor Licence (or the ability to obtain one quickly) is essential.
· Proven ability to work independently, organise your workload and manage multiple live jobs concurrently.
· Confident communicator with a calm, people‑focused approach.
· Competent with computers and mobile technology. Experience with insurance/job management systems (such as PRIME) is an advantage.
What’s on offer
· Competitive Salary
· Fully maintained company vehicle plus phone/tablet and required equipment
· Be part of a secure, reputable insurance repair business with more than two decades of continuous operation.
· Work in a values‑driven environment where quality, integrity and looking after people genuinely matter.
· Variety of work across insurance repairs, facilities maintenance and commercial projects, with strong support from an experienced head office team.
· Play a meaningful role in helping customers recover from unexpected events and feel proud of the outcomes you deliver.
How to apply
If you are an experienced Site Supervisor with solid insurance repair experience and an interest in facilities maintenance or commercial projects, we would love to hear from you. Please apply via SEEK with your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience.
Employment is subject to a satisfactory National Police Check (completed with your consent). Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
