About the role

Struanville Farming Co is seeking a dedicated Farm Operations Team Member to join our team near Dalby, QLD 4405. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our farming enterprise. As a Farm Operations Team Member, you will be responsible for supporting the effective running of our farm, contributing to productivity, safety, and the overall success of our agricultural operations. This role is essential to maintaining our high standards of farm management and ensuring our operations run smoothly throughout the year.

Key responsibilities

1. Assist with the preparation, maintenance and operation of farming equipment and machinery

2. Perform general farm maintenance tasks, including general repairs, paddock upkeep and facility maintenance

3. Help with crop management activities, including planting, weed control, irrigation and harvesting as required

4. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of farm facilities and storage areas

5. Follow all safety protocols and work in compliance with workplace health and safety regulations

6. Assist in record-keeping and basic documentation of farm activities

7. Work collaboratively with other team members to meet farm objectives and deadlines

8. Support seasonal activities and special projects as directed by farm management

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience working on a farm or in agricultural operations is highly desirable

2. A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

3. Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour in varying weather conditions

4.



Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation

5. Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious attitude

6. Ability to follow instructions and work to established procedures

7. Flexibility to adapt to seasonal demands and changing priorities

8. A current driver's licence is advantageous

9. Willingness to undertake training and develop skills in farm operations
