The Role:

Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented technical sales professional to join our team. As an Account Executive with Inductive Automation , you will blend technical solutions selling with proactive account management to drive growth. You will be at the heart of our mission, working closely with clients to design tailored technical architectures and delivering engaging demonstrations a nd presentations that showcase the power of and technical benefits of our industrial platform to different audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Continuously expand your knowledge of our products and sector verticals.




- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proof-of-concepts that highlight the technical perks of our platform.
- Represent Inductive Automation as a key brand ambassador at major industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Identify and capture new business opportunities while fostering long-term growth with our existing client base.
- Creating accurate sales proposals, quotes, and reports.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering to co-develop deep expertise across various industrial vertical markets.

Requirements:

- At least 2 years of experience in industrial automation software sales (e.g., SCADA, MES, IIoT, or PLCs).
- Technical sales, product consulting, industry experience
- Proficiency with modern CRM software and sales tools, with Hubspot experience being a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, from engineers to executives.
- Willingness to travel to attend local and interstate customer meetings on-site or in office virtually as necessary
