Central Coast Mariners Football Club, established in 2004, is the first professional sporting organization to represent the Central Coast region on national and international stages. Role Summary

Reporting to the GM Operations, the Merchandise Co-ordinator is responsible for coordinating and delivering the Central Coast Mariners' retail merchandise program across online, match day, and other sales channels. This role is responsible for the successful execution of merchandise operations, ensuring an exceptional supporter experience and contributing to the Club's commercial objectives.

This role plays an important part in driving merchandise revenue, enhancing supporter engagement, and ensuring the Club's retail operations are delivered efficiently and in line with both Club and League standards.

The successful candidate will have experience in retail operations, merchandise coordination, inventory management, and customer service. They will be highly organised, commercially minded, and passionate about delivering outstanding retail experiences for members, supporters, and the wider football community.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute the Central Coast Mariners' merchandise program in accordance with the merchandise strategy and operational framework, serving as the primary Club contact for product, stock allocation, promotions, operational requirements, and seasonal product ranges.
- Manage stock ordering, inventory control, and replenishment to maximise product availability while minimising excess inventory.




- Monitor merchandise sales performance and prepare regular reports and insights to support commercial decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, the A-Leagues, suppliers, retail partners, and licensing providers to support the successful delivery of the Club's merchandise program.
- Support the ongoing management and optimisation of the Club's online merchandise store and retail sales channels.
- Coordinate merchandise operations on match days, Club events, member functions, and community activations.
- Work closely with the marketing team to deliver integrated retail campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with Membership, Ticketing, Events, Football, and other internal departments to deliver a seamless supporter experience.
- Monitor industry trends, supporter purchasing behaviour, and emerging retail technologies to identify opportunities to improve retail operations, customer experience, and merchandise revenue performance.
- Ensure merchandise displays, and retail consistently reflect Central Coast Mariners standards.
- Maintain accurate product information, pricing, inventory records, and reporting systems.
- Support the GM Operations in achieving merchandise revenue targets and broader commercial objectives.
- Ensure merchandise operations comply with Club policies, financial procedures, and A-Leagues requirements.

Technical Skills

- Degree in Commerce, Marketing, Business, Retail Management, or a related discipline (preferred but not essential).
- Minimum two years' experience in retail, merchandise, e-commerce, or sports merchandise operations.
- Experience managing inventory, stock control, supplier relationships, and retail administration.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising principles, and customer experience.
- Experience using retail management, inventory management, point-of-sale, and e-commerce platforms.
- Ability to analyse sales performance and prepare reports that support commercial decision-making.
- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to prepare professional reports, presentations, and commercial analysis.
- Experience working within a sporting organisation or membership-based environment is desirable
