ISOLA Restaurant is looking for an experienced Pastry Cook who loves creating outstanding desserts, cakes, pastries and sweet treats to join our team on a full-time basis on Rottnest Island WA. Working alongside our talented chefs, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional desserts and baked goods for our restaurant, special events, and private functions.

Key responsibilities:

- Prepare and bake a range of desserts, pastries, cakes, breads, and other baked goods.

- Mixing, kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, shaping and lining pastry and dough products.

- Preparing pastry fillings and related product components as required.

- Prepare and present desserts, pastries, and baked items for weddings, corporate events, private functions, and other catered events, ensuring quality and consistency across all services.

- Operating commercial pastry and baking equipment safely and effectively.





- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering pastry ingredients.

- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe pastry section.

About you:

- Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent qualification (preferred).

- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Pastry Cook in a commercial kitchen.

- Experience preparing Italian pastries and desserts is highly regarded.

- Experience catering for functions, events, or high-volume service is an advantage.

- Display a passion for creating high standards of excellence in food preparation and presentation

- Robust attention to detail and presentation.

Salary between $79,499 & $85,000 per annum + superannuation.
