Our client is a specialist infrastructure investment manager focused on the energy transition, spanning renewables, storage, grid solutions, digital infrastructure and decarbonisation. The Brisbane team works across both investment and development activity, giving team members exposure to live transactions, commercial structuring, project development, portfolio management and Investment Committee decision-making.

The team includes senior leaders, experienced mid-level professionals and newer investment talent, creating strong opportunities for mentorship and development. It also forms part of a global platform, with senior global leadership based in Brisbane.

As the Brisbane team continues to grow, we're hiring for two complementary roles within the investment team.

The Roles

1 | Investment Associate

A broad investment role covering financial modelling, valuation, due diligence and transaction execution across acquisitions, developments, financings and portfolio assets, from origination through to exit.

A specialist modelling role with primary ownership of the firm's fund models across all funds, ensuring they are accurate, robust, well-controlled and decision-helpful, with some support to the broader investment team on transaction models and IC materials.

Both roles sit within the same investment team and offer close exposure to senior leadership, live transactions and Investment Committee decision-making.

What You'll Do

Investment Associate:

- Build, review and maintain financial models for acquisitions, developments, financings and portfolio assets
- Undertake valuation, returns analysis, sensitivities and scenario testing
- Analyse markets, commercial structures, counterparties, regulation, technologies and project risks
- Support due diligence, transaction execution, bid preparation and data room review
- Prepare and contribute to Investment Committee and Board papers
- Contribute to portfolio monitoring, investor reporting and value creation analysis
- Own, maintain and enhance fund models across all funds
- Prepare fund-level analysis,



scenario modelling, sensitivities and returns analysis
- Support portfolio valuations, capital allocation analysis, investor reporting and fundraising materials
- Analyse fund cashflows, liquidity, commitments, distributions and investor return metrics
- Translate complex modelling outputs into clear insights for senior stakeholders
- Support the investment team from time to time on transaction models and IC materials

What we're looking for

Required (both roles):

- Prior relevant experience in infrastructure, energy, renewables, investment banking, project finance, corporate/fund finance, private equity, transaction advisory, consulting or a related analytical role
- Strong to advanced Excel modelling skills
- Sound understanding of valuation, returns analysis and commercial drivers
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
- Clear written communication and ability to turn analysis into structured recommendations
- Collaborative working style, professional judgement and integrity
- Direct experience in renewable energy, battery storage, power markets, grid infrastructure, energy retail, data centres or industrial decarbonisation

Additional for the Financial Modelling role:

- Advanced Excel capability with complex, multi-scenario fund models
- Ability to identify modelling errors, challenge assumptions and improve model structure
- Commercial judgement: able to understand what the model is saying, not just how it works
- Exposure to fund models, portfolio models, valuation models, M&A;, project finance or capital raising
