About the Role

Teys Australia isseeking an Engine Driver/Trade Assistant to join the Maintenance Team based atour Biloela processing site in Central Queensland. The role will be responsiblefor operating, repairing and maintaining industrial engine steam and othermechanical equipment.

Other responsibilitiesinclude:

- Operating and maintainingammonia refrigeration plants to ensure efficient and safe operation.
- Monitoring and managingsteam boilers, ensuring they are performing within required parameters.
- Conducting regularinspections, repairs, and maintenance on equipment to avoid unscheduleddowntime.
- Collaborating with themaintenance team to perform routine preventive maintenance activities.
- Adhering to all safetyguidelines and best practices to ensure a secure working setting.
- Continuously monitoring andevaluating equipment performance, making necessary adjustments as required

About You:





You must havethe following experience/skills:

- Familiarity with relevant industry regulationsand safety practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solvingskills.
- Ability to work independently and underpressure with minimal supervision.
- Good organisational and time managementabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work a rotating lifestyleroster consisting of 12 hour shifts.
- Possessingboiler operation licenses to operate and maintain boilers.
- Experience in operating ammonia refrigerationplants.
- Forklift license orexperience operating forklifts.
- Mechanical background andunderstanding.
- Additional certifications or licenses relatedto refrigeration, boilers, or related fields.
