About the Role

Securecorp is seeking an experienced and professional Permanent Full-Time Level 4 Control Room Operator / Security Officer to join our team at a high-profile site on the northern Gold Coast.

Working a 4 on, 4 off rotating roster (2 day shifts, 2 night shifts), this role is suited to a highly capable security professional with solid operational experience and a background in control room environments. You will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of the site through proactive monitoring, incident management, and effective coordination of security operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor the site's Control Room systems, including CCTV, access control, alarms, and communication systems.
- Monitor site activity and respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations.
- Coordinate and deploy security personnel in response to operational requirements and critical incidents.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs, incident reports, and operational records.
- Conduct investigations using CCTV footage and prepare detailed reports when required.




- Liaise professionally with clients, emergency services, contractors, and site stakeholders.
- Perform regular site patrols and security inspections as required.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks while ensuring compliance with site procedures.
- Support emergency response procedures and coordinate communications during critical incidents.
- Maintain a professional security presence while providing exceptional customer service.

Skills & Experience

- Current Queensland Security Licence with applicable functions (essential).
- Demonstrated experience working in a Control Room environment (essential).
- Extensive security industry experience, preferably in corporate, commercial, critical infrastructure, or high-profile sites.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring, and incident management systems.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high standard of report writing.
- Strong computer literacy and the ability to operate multiple security platforms simultaneously.
- Ability to remain calm, make sound decisions, and prioritise tasks under pressure.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Availability to work a rotating 4 on, 4 off roster (2 days, 2 nights).
