About the role

We are currently seeking highly motivated an energetic Assistant Store Manager to support one of our Cairns sites.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll work closely with and support the Store Manager in leading a our team and setting the standard across all areas of store operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow their retail leadership experience and build a long-term career pathway towards becoming a Store Manager.

You'll play a key role in the operational success of the store, supporting and learning all aspects of store management, including stock management, stocktaking, inventory control, ordering, rostering administration, store reporting, and maintaining compliance with company policies and WHS requirements. Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience in the administrative, commercial, and operational aspects of running a successful retail business. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to progress into a Store Manager position while contributing to a positive and supportive environment for both team members and customers.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be actively involved in the day-to-day running of the store. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy staying busy, meeting deadlines and maintaining high retail standards. Fuel, food service and retail experience will be highly regarded.
