About Us

Gentlemen’s Hair Lounge is an established men’s grooming business with locations in Subiaco and Joondalup, Western Australia. We are looking for a reliable, experienced and customer-focused Barber / Hairdresser to join our professional team on a full-time basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys working in a busy salon environment and is passionate about delivering excellent service to every client.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced full-time Barber / Hairdresser who is confident across all aspects of barbering and men’s hairstyling. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with a wide range of clients and will bring strong technical skills, professionalism and a friendly attitude to the team.

What We’re Looking For

- At least three years of employment experience in a busy salon or barbershop environment
- Strong scissor skills, clipper work and skin fade experience
- Confidence with traditional face shaves, beard styling and moustache grooming




- Ability to perform a variety of men’s hairstyles and modern barbering services
- Experience with colour, bleach, perm and chemical services is highly regarded
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A friendly, outgoing personality and a professional approach
- Ability to build strong rapport with customers
- Availability to work weekends as part of the full-time roster

Key Responsibilities

- Cutting, styling and finishing hair using scissors, clippers and razors
- Providing beard trims, moustache grooming and traditional shaving services
- Offering professional advice on hairstyles, hair care and grooming products
- Shampooing hair and conditioning scalps where required
- Performing colour, bleach, perm and other chemical services when needed
- Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic work area
- Sanitising tools and equipment in line with salon standards
- Arranging appointments and processing customer payments when required
