Our Federal government client is seeking a pragmatic, adaptable, and solutions-oriented Communications and Change Officer to play a key role in delivering a major digital initiative. - 3 months contract
- Canberra based
- Hybrid working arrangement (mix of WFH and in Office).
- Australian citizens with an active Baseline clearance
- Paxus pays weekly.
What you will do
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to support digital transformation initiatives
- Facilitate change management processes to ensure successful adoption of recent technologies and processes
- Engage with diverse internal and external stakeholders to maintain clear and timely communication
- Provide strategic advice to senior leaders on communication and change activities
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication and change interventions
Required Skills
- Proven experience in communication and change management within a government or large organisation
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills tailored to a range of audiences
- Strong stakeholder engagement and consultation skills
- Ability to develop and implement strategic communication plans
- Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency with digital communication tools and platforms
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience working on digital transformation projects
- Knowledge of regulatory or compliance frameworks
- Experience in policy development
- Familiarity with government procedures and frameworks
- Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, change management, or a related field
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in a similar role
Other Requirements
- Current security clearance or ability to obtain one
