Your new company You will play a key role in supporting ICT procurement activities, including the management of contracts and the delivery of new procurement processes. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, you will provide advice and ensure procurement activities align with legislative and policy requirements.
Your new role
- Support end-to-end procurement activities in line with relevant legislation and procurement rules
- Assist in the preparation and management of procurement documentation (e.g. RFQs, contracts, approvals)
- Contribute to contract management and vendor engagement activities
- Conduct commercial assessments to support value-for-money outcomes
- Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on procurement processes
- Maintain accurate records and support reporting requirements
- Manage competing priorities in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a confident communicator with sound stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a energetic environment. You will bring experience in procurement (ideally ICT), along with an understanding of government procurement frameworks.
What you'll get in return
This role is for a 12-month non-ongoing contract, with the option to work from home 2 days a week. This role can only be based in Canberra.
