Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to join our Supply Chain team at our Duketon operation.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Superintendent, you will be responsible for the effective management, control and optimisation of inventory across the operation.

You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, stock availability and master data integrity, while supporting operational continuity through effective inventory governance and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a FIFO role (8:6 roster) from Perth.

The Main Responsibilities Of This Role Include

- Maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring data integrity within the ERP system
- Monitoring inventory levels and replenishment requirements to ensure critical stock availability
- Conducting inventory analysis to identify trends, discrepancies and optimisation opportunities
- Managing cycle counting programs, stocktakes and inventory reconciliations
- Investigating inventory variances and implementing corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy
- Maintaining inventory master data and ensuring compliance with catalogue governance standards
- Coordinating lifecycle activities for rotatable assets
- Developing and monitoring inventory storage and preservation requirements
- Supporting inventory optimisation and inventory reduction initiatives across the operation
- Preparing inventory reports, dashboards and performance metrics to support business decision-making
- Identifying obsolete, redundant and surplus inventory and developing strategies to reduce inventory-related costs
- Collaborating with procurement, maintenance and operations teams to support inventory planning requirements

Desired Skills and Experience

To Be Successful For This Role, You Will Have





- Qualification in Supply Chain / Logistics / Warehousing
- Demonstrated experience in inventory control, warehousing or supply chain operations
- Experience within mining, resources, manufacturing or heavy industry will be highly regarded
- Exposure to ERP implementation, master data projects or continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practice inventory control processes
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Pronto, SAP, Oracle, JDE or similar
- Proven experience conducting stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory reconciliations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
- Experience with inventory reporting, data analysis and master data management
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
