Baba Shrichand 3Pty Ltd is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef for Indian Curry Hutt Restaurant, a busy restaurant, located in Logan, Qld. We are dedicated to finding the best talent for our restaurant and providing excellent career opportunities for our candidates.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong background in the culinary arts. They will be responsible for creating and preparing high‐quality dishes, overseeing the kitchen operations, and managing a team of kitchen staff. The successful candidate will also have a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines, as well as the ability to create and maintain a positive and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create and prepare high‐quality dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards
- Oversee and manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen area
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and specials




- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely manner
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Maintain a positive and qualified attitude at all times
- Continuously strive to improve and innovate in the kitchen

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Chef in a high‐volume restaurant
- Certificate IV in Culinary/commercial cookery or above
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast‐paced and high‐pressure environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Creative and innovative mindset
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
