Profectus is seeking experienced DevOps Engineers for a major Australian Government program. These roles suit hands‑on engineers who can automate build, integration and deployment, streamline delivery through CI/CD, and resolve integration and environment issues, working closely with stakeholders and delivery partners.

Key Responsibilities

- Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, automation and continuous integration
- Integrate and build components, subsystems and interfaces to create operational systems and services
- Configure and manage build and test environments, resolving configuration drift and inconsistencies
- Diagnose and resolve integration, build, deployment and environment issues, including supporting deployments and major incidents
- Automate repetitive tasks and optimise build and deployment workflows
- Contribute to systems integration standards, tools and continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate documentation and configuration records

Required Experience

- Strong DevOps experience with CI/CD, automation and continuous integration
- Experience integrating and building components across complex, multi-platform environments
- Familiarity with build, deployment and environment management tooling and infrastructure as code




- Australian Government experience as a minimum, with strong problem‑solving and documentation skills
- Ability to operate effectively both independently and within integrated, multi‑vendor delivery teams
- AWS or Azure experience, including containers and orchestration
- Experience with pipeline and automation tooling such as Azure DevOps and Artifactory
- Experience delivering within agile or scaled‑agile (Secure) environments
- Relevant DevOps or cloud certifications

Security Clearance Requirements

- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Must hold a Baseline security clearance (minimum)

Working Arrangements

- Hybrid; predominantly onsite with periodic work from home where appropriate
- Canberra preferred
- Candidates based in VIC, NSW, SA or QLD may also be considered
