The Client
Our client is an established industry leader with a strong national presence and reputation. Due to continued growth,
they are seeking an Assistant Accountant to support the finance team across a variety of day-to-day accounting responsibilities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing accounting experience while learning from experienced finance professionals.
The Role
- Assist with daily accounting and finance activities
- Bank reconciliations and account maintenance
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Assist with payroll administration
- Assist in preparing reports and schedules
- Processing journals and maintaining financial records
- Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects
- Assist with maintaining accurate accounting documentation
The Person
- 2-3 years' accounting experience
- Degree-qualified or currently studying Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- CA/CPA commenced or intention to commence (highly regarded)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good Excel and systems skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills highly regarded
