Sedgman is seeking a skilled Structural Designer with hands‑on experience on projects ranging from conceptual design to detailed engineering. This role involves the entire design process within the Mineral Processing industry, focusing on Structural expertise.

Key Responsibilities
- Convert engineering concepts into 3D designs.
- Check drafting deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design specifications and intent.
- Maintain quality standards and client requirements to complete tasks efficiently.
- Create 3D designs from complex, multidisciplinary engineering concepts.
About You
- 3+ years of industry experience in mining, mineral processing, or heavy industries.
- Strong understanding of relevant Australian standards.
- Experience with projects from conceptual design through to detailed engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
- Proficiency in AutoDesk 3D modelling programs such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, Advanced Steel, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Vault, and Plant3D.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Interest or experience in SMP design.
- Willingness to adapt to a changing role.
- Pointcloud scanning skills are a perk but not required.
- Proven skills in Advanced Steel.
- Concrete design and detailing experience.
