Join the global leader in sustainable energy solutions as a Project Development Manager, driving wind energy projects from concept to financial close across Australia.

In this dynamic role, you'll be part of Vestas' Australian Development team, leading the development of a wind farm in the Western Downs region of Queensland. This is a project with outstanding fundamentals: cleared farmland, excellent wind resource, flat and highly constructable terrain, and strong grid capacity in one of the state's highest-demand regions. Ecological surveys are complete, early contractor input is shaping the design, and it's tracking toward DA — with one of the lowest LCOEs in the state.

As the successful candidate you will work across land agreements, environmental permitting, grid connection, stakeholder engagement, and financial modelling — helping shape the future of renewable energy. You will be aided by Vestas' considerable experience in delivering wind power projects in Australia.

This position has a multi-faceted approach which includes direct communication with the local community, working with external professional entities to finalise agreements and engaging external consultants. Experience with renewable energy projects is desirable and we welcome those who have similar experience in developing large rural infrastructure projects.

Ideally you will need to be a people person who is the face of the project for the local community. This will involve liaising with council, local community groups and members of the community with questions or concerns. Join the team which has quickly established itself as one of the biggest wind energy developers in the region.

The role will ideally be located in Melbourne or Brisbane and will involve travel to project sites across eastern Australia.
