Making a difference

In this role, you will help shape the future of Central Goldfields Shire. From roads, assets and capital projects through to planning, waste, environment and operations, your leadership will directly influence how communities grow, connect and thrive. You will play a key role in delivering practical, sustainable and community-focused outcomes that make a visible difference across the Shire.

Our ideal candidate

Our ideal candidate is an experienced and values-led executive leader who can bring together strategic thinking, sound judgement and practical delivery. You will have a strong background in infrastructure, asset management, planning, operations or a similarly complex service environment, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes that balance community needs, financial sustainability and long-term growth.

You will be a confident communicator and trusted advisor who can work effectively with Councillors, government, community and staff, while fostering a collaborative, accountable and high-performing culture. Most importantly, you will bring integrity,



resilience and a genuine commitment to making a positive difference for the Central Goldfields Shire community.
