The Role

Seeking a Safety Management Engineer to support Defence aviation capability through the delivery of system safety engineering services across complex acquisition and sustainment environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain system safety plans, specifications, procedures and reports
- Conduct system safety analysis,



verification and validation activities
- Support hazard identification, risk assessment and certification activities
- Review technical designs and engineering deliverables from a safety perspective
- Provide system safety engineering advice in accordance with Defence standards and requirements

Required

- Degree-qualified Engineer recognised under the Washington Accord
- Chartered Qualified Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent
- Experience developing and implementing safety management plans within Defence or complex engineering environments
- Experience conducting system safety analysis, hazard assessments and certification activities
- Minimum 12 months' experience within a materiel system safety program
- Current NV1 Security Clearance
