About the Role

We're looking for reliable, organised and enthusiastic people who enjoy working in fast-paced food service environments.

As a School Canteen Supervisor, you'll lead the day-to-day operation of a school canteen, support your team and ensure excellent food quality and customer service.

As a School Canteen Operator,



you'll prepare fresh food, serve students and staff, maintain food safety standards and help keep the canteen running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

- Preparing fresh sandwiches, salads, wraps and hot food

- Providing friendly customer service

- Processing cash and EFTPOS sales

- Maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards

- Ordering stock and managing deliveries

- Leading and supporting staff (Supervisor roles)

- Creating a welcoming workplace for students and school staff

We're Looking For People Who:

- Have hospitality, café, canteen or food service experience

- Thrive in busy service environments

- Enjoy working independently and as part of a team

- Have excellent customer service skills

- Take pride in producing quality food

- Are reliable, organised and punctual

- Have strong food safety and hygiene standards

Leadership experience is regarded for Supervisor positions.

Barista experience is an advantage but not essential.

Availability Requirements

School Canteen Supervisor roles

- Available Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 2:00pm during school terms.

School Canteen Operator roles

- Available to work regular casual shifts during school terms, with flexible hours available.

You will also require:

- Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle

- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

- RRHAN-EC Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
