Airfirst are seeking qualified Electricians to fill a full time position in Cairns. The successful applicants will be exposed to a wide variety of breakdowns, service, maintenance and installation scenarios.

We're looking for a candidate who:

- holds a Certificate III Trade Certificate (Electrical) with a Qld License class Electrical Fitter/Mechanic together with demonstrated industry knowledge, skills and relevant experience.

- has the ability to perform breakdowns and preventative maintenance.

- has experience in diagnosis and fault finding and the ability to troubleshoot Electrical/HVAC issues.

- can manage repairs, servicing and maintenance of installations.





- has great communication skills and a positive attitude.

- can maintain and improve OH&S; and overall operational standards in the workplace.

- is reliable, punctual and able to work autonomously with the ability to work well in a team environment.

- has good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

- is willing to learn new processes.

- can conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment functionality and safety (RCD and Test/Tag of appliances).

- is willing to work outside of normal work hours if requested.

- has knowledge of and the ability to adhere to all legislation and codes of practice applicable to your role.

- has the ability to apply safe work practices in accordance with company policy.

Wish list:

Holders of an RSS03 - Restricted Heat Pump (Split System) Installation and Decommissioning Licence highly regarded.

Must haves:

- QLD License Class Electrical Fitter/Mechanic

- Current Australian open manual drivers licence
