About the role

Dunk Group is seeking an experienced builder who specialises in metal construction to join our team in Cowra NSW as a site supervisor. This is a full time position where you will play a crucial role in constructing and assembling high-quality sheds, fences and metal structures for our valued clients. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for the complete construction process, from site preparation through to final finishing, ensuring every project meets our high standards and client expectations. This role is essential to maintaining Dunk Group's reputation for excellence in the building trades sector.

Key responsibilities

1. Prepare and set out building sites in accordance with plans and specifications

2. Construct steel shed frameworks using appropriate tools and techniques

3. Install roofing materials, cladding, and weatherproofing systems to ensure structural integrity and weather resistance

4. Fit doors, windows, gates and other fixtures to completed structures

5. Perform concreting and foundation work as required for shed construction projects

6. Construct residential and commercial fences as required

7. Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards

8. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used on site

9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

10. Conduct quality checks throughout each stage of construction

11. Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools and equipment safely and effectively

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a shed builder or similar building trade role, with a strong track record of completed projects

2. Sound knowledge of building materials, construction methods and structural principles relevant to shed construction

3. CRUCIAL - Proficiency in reading and interpreting building plans, specifications and technical drawings

4. Competence in using a wide range of hand tools, power tools and construction equipment safely

5.



Understanding of relevant building codes, regulations and occupational health and safety requirements

6. Strong practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail

7. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

8. Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual work in varying weather conditions

9. Reliability and professional approach to work

10. Relevant certifications or qualifications in building trades (preferred)

11. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as required (preferred)
