About this role:
As an Engineer Level 1 (E1), you are an established part of the Consultancy model and are integral to Planit's ability to deliver quality engineering and testing solutions. You operate effectively across both traditional and Agile environments, demonstrating initiative, accountability, and the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timeframes. As an E1, you are comfortable working independently, applying your practical experience to complete assigned work while knowing when to seek guidance from senior team members. You are capable of contributing across small to medium complexity environments and collaborating effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
We are seeking an experienced HRIS Senior Test Analyst to join a major HR transformation program, supporting the delivery of high-quality HR technology solutions within a complex enterprise environment. Working closely with HR stakeholders, business SMEs, project teams, vendors, and delivery partners, you will play a key role in validating HR business processes and ensuring the successful implementation of SAP SuccessFactors solutions and associated integrations.
This role requires robust HR domain expertise, particularly across Hire-to-Retire processes, coupled with extensive testing experience across HRIS platforms. You will be responsible for planning and executing testing activities, facilitating UAT, managing defects, validating end-to-end business processes, and ensuring quality outcomes across multiple HR systems and integrations.

What You'll Do
- Develop detailed test plans, test scenarios, schedules, effort estimates, and test execution strategies.
- Lead and execute QA, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, Exploratory Testing, and End-to-End (E2E) testing activities.
- Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, execution results, and defects.
- Ensure testing activities align with enterprise quality assurance standards, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.
- Validate end-to-end HR business processes across SAP SuccessFactors and connected systems.
- Lead testing across SuccessFactors Employee Central, Recruitment, Onboarding, and Performance & Goals modules.
- Review and provide quality assurance of vendor-delivered testing artefacts, including unit and system testing outputs.
- Validate integrations between SuccessFactors, SAP CPI, payroll systems, and downstream applications.
- Test business rules, workflows, security models, position management structures, role-based permissions, and organisational hierarchies.
- Support business process walkthroughs, requirements validation sessions, and solution reviews.
- Partner with HR stakeholders, business SMEs, delivery teams, and vendors throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing activities and business sign-off processes.
- Facilitate defect triage sessions and support governance and status reporting forums.
- Establish and maintain defect management processes, reporting frameworks, and quality metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives,
including identifying opportunities for regression test automation.
- Ensure all testing artefacts are complete, audit-ready, and compliant with enterprise standards.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years' experience in HRIS testing, including significant experience with SAP SuccessFactors.

- Compensation Processes
- HR Compliance and Controls
- Demonstrated ability to translate HR business requirements and user stories into effective end-to-end test scenarios.
- Experience working within regulated environments such as Energy, Utilities, Government, or similarly complex industries.
- Strong expertise across SIT, UAT, Regression, Exploratory, and End-to-end testing methodologies.
- Experience applying risk-based and session-based testing approaches.
- Exposure to API and integration testing tools.
- Hands-on experience using Jira, PractiTest, and defect tracking/reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both business and technical audiences.
