We are seeking a adaptable and customer-focused team member to join Burns For Blinds in a casual capacity. This role will primarily support our Seacombe Gardens and Mount Barker showrooms, while also providing coverage at our Norwood and Gepps Cross locations when required.

**Who we are**

Burns for Blinds has been fitting out South Australian homes since 1953. We're SA's largest window furnishings retailer, family-owned, 60+ staff, with showrooms at Seacombe Gardens, Mount Barker and Gepps Cross plus our Norwood head office.

**The role**

You'll be the first point of contact for customers walking into the showroom or calling in — answering product questions, booking appointments for our sales consultants, helping process orders, and generally making sure people have a great experience with us. No two days look the same: some days you're on the floor, some days you're on the phone, and you'll get to know our product range inside out.

This is casual work, roughly 20–35 hours a week across 3–5 days, including weekends.



We're upfront that weekend work is part of the deal — most retail is.

**Where you'll be based**

Primarily Seacombe Gardens and Mount Barker, with the occasional shift at Norwood. We're specifically after people who can genuinely cover those two sites — that's the gap we need filled, so if you're local to Mount Barker, Seacombe or nearby, you're exactly who we're after.

**What you'll bring**

Some customer service experience, a confident phone manner, comfortable with basic computer/admin tasks, and good, clear English. Beyond that, we're looking for someone reliable, positive to be around, and happy to pitch in as part of a small team — the kind of person customers remember for the right reasons.
