We're looking for an experienced HSEQ Officer to join our Projects team on a FIFO 2:1 roster from Perth. This is a fixed-term contract through to April 2027, supporting the secure and successful delivery of a major construction project while working alongside an experienced national HSEQ team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll work closely with supervisors, subcontractors and site teams to promote a proactive safety culture while ensuring compliance with ATCO's HSEQ management systems, policies and legislative requirements.

This is a site-based role where you'll provide practical advice, coaching and support across health, safety, environmental and quality functions.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Monitoring HSEQ compliance across the project site

- Conducting site inspections, audits, toolbox talks and risk assessments





- Supporting incident investigations and corrective actions

- Delivering HSEQ training and coaching to supervisors and employees

- Assisting with the implementation and continual improvement of HSEQ management systems

- Supporting quality processes and maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and standards

- Working closely with operational teams to drive continuous improvement across safety and quality outcomes

- Utilising cloud-based systems and Microsoft 365 to manage HSEQ documentation and reporting

About You

You'll be a practical HSEQ professional who enjoys building relationships on site and influencing positive safety behaviours.

To be successful, you'll bring:

- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum)

- Current White Card

- Current Driver's Licence

- Current First Aid Certificate

- Previous experience in construction, modular construction, mining or heavy industry

- Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, standards and risk management

- Experience conducting audits, inspections, investigations and safety training

- Sound understanding of ISO management systems

- Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including SharePoint

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

- Previous FIFO site experience

Desirable:

- Certificate IV in Building & Construction

- Site Supervisor Licence

- Schedule 26 qualification
