ACARA is seeking an Enterprise Business Analyst to work with passionate stakeholders across the organisation to translate business needs into innovative technology solutions that improve how educators, students and the broader community access curriculum resources. You'll play a key role in delivering strategic ICT initiatives, with a strong focus on enhancing the Australian Curriculum website and driving continuous improvement across enterprise projects.
About the position:
The position will:
- Partner with business stakeholders to analyse processes, gather requirements and translate business needs into explicit, actionable solutions that support strategic ICT initiatives.
- Lead business analysis activities across digital projects, including the ongoing enhancement of the Australian Curriculum website, ensuring solutions are user-focused, scalable and aligned with organisational objectives.
- Facilitate workshops, process mapping, backlog refinement,
user acceptance testing and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle to deliver successful outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimise business processes, improve digital experiences and contribute to ACARA's enterprise technology strategy.
To be successful, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst delivering successful digital or website projects, with the ability to develop high-quality business requirements and support Agile delivery practices.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and translate complex business needs into practical technology solutions.
- Experience using contemporary business analysis and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Miro and process modelling tools, with exposure to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Analytics highly regarded.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business or a related discipline, along with a commitment to continuous improvement. Experience within the education sector or on education-focused projects will be highly regarded.

ACARA offers an attractive salary range, commencing at $128,179 base per annum (plus superannuation).
