Auto Electricians

We’re on the lookout for 3 skilled and reliable Auto Electricians to join our busy mechanical workshop based in Welshpool.

If you’re someone who takes pride in your work, can think on your feet, and enjoys a mix of workshop and hands on fault finding, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on a range of heavy vehicles and equipment

- Installing and maintaining electrical systems, accessories, and components

- Working alongside our mechanical team to keep jobs moving efficiently

- Carrying out breakdown diagnostics and troubleshooting

- Electrical rewiring, modifications and harnessing as required

- Proficient in reading and understanding wiring diagrams, OEM manuals and schematics

- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

- Work locally in Welshpool – Monday to Friday, 10hr days, finish at 3pm!

About You

- Trade-qualified Auto Electrician

- Experience with heavy vehicles, trucks, or machinery including CAT, Sandvik, Normet, Volvo and Epiroc (highly regarded)

- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

- Motivated, technically minded, enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic

- Proactive, safety conscious,



team player who is also able to work autonomously as required

- Take pride in quality workmanship and maintaining a clean, safe work area

- Demonstrate a willingness to train apprentices and transfer your knowledge and skills

- Must be able to pass pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screen

- Must have full Rights to Work in Australia

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

- Australian Certificate III Automotive Electrical Technology

- Current Australian C Class Driver’s License

- Refrigeration Handlers’ License (preferred)

- Must have experience maintaining and/or rebuilding underground mining equipment

- Forklift License
