The Prospect
PGC Training is seeking applications for our Host Employer in Booragoon, from enthusiastic, motivated individuals with a great work attitude looking to begin their career as an apprentice Roof Plumber. Current apprentices (1st, 2nd or 3rd Year) are encouraged to apply.
The Roof Plumbing apprenticeship is 48-month hands-on program that combines on‑the‑job and off‑the‑job training. Throughout the duration of the apprenticeship, you will work under the guidance of experienced and qualified roof plumbers in the workplace and undertake classroom-based and practical training and assessments.
Working as an apprentice Roof Plumber you will learn roof plumbing and drainage systems, metal roofing installation and replacement, gutter/downpipe and flashings installation, roof maintenance and repairs, reading plans and understanding roofing specifications, using industry tools and equipment and working safely at heights.
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will receive a nationally recognised qualification CPC32420 Certificate III in Roof Plumbing and be issued with a Western Australian Trade Certificate.

PGC Training is both a Group Training Organisation (GTO) and Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in Western Australia. Our GTO employs apprentices and trainees and places them with a host employer who they work for while undertaking their on-the-job training. Our RTO, located in Cockburn Central,
mainly delivers high risk, short course and earthmoving training and assessing.

- Must be eligible to work in Australia (Australian citizen or permanent resident)
- Hold a Valid 'C' Class Drivers Licence and own reliable transport
- Hold a White Card (or be willing to obtain one)
- Minimum C grade in Year 10 Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Strong commitment to safe work practices, policies, and procedures
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical exam, including a drug and alcohol screen
