Tropics Early Learning are seeking Early Childhood Educators who are committed to providing high quality care and education for all children.

We are a not-for-profit early learning centre where children are nurtured to learn and thrive through play-based programs that are individualised to the child’s needs. Key responsibilities:

- Contribute to a friendly centre environment, where children feel protected and families feel welcome.

- Develop strong relationships with children at the service and ensure they develop a sense of belonging.

- Assist in developing and implementing high quality educational programs for children aged 0 - 5 yrs





- Recognise and cater for unique interests, needs or abilities of children.

- Manage daily care routines.

- Supervise and interact with children.

- Comply with the service’s policies and procedures.

- Help keep the learning environment clean, hygienic and safe.

Selection Criteria:

- Cert III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care or working toward a Diploma Qualification

- Full Time positions available

- Must have previous Early Childhood experience and Educational programming experience, with leadership experience preferred

- Sound written and verbal communication skills

- Current CPR and First Aid certificates (inclusive of asthma and anaphylaxis training).

- Current Ochre Card – or willing to obtain one

- Must be able to work a five day week on a rotating roster
