Role:

You will play a vital role in ensuring departmental systems comply with Australian Government security standards (PSPF, ISM, Essential Eight) while delivering pragmatic advice to senior executives and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential cyber risks, impact assessments, treatment plans,



and mitigation strategies across the department and its portfolio.Establish, refine, and implement robust assurance frameworks and controls aligned with PSPF, ISM, NIST, and regulatory standards.Develop, review, and update cybersecurity policies, standards, and SOPs to align with federal governance and assurance mandates.Design and conduct security audits; monitor risk remediation by System/Business Owners; develop and maintain documentation for Accreditation and Certification activities.
