The Public Sector Commission is on a mission to create an innovative and future fit public sector for all Western Australians.
This position is part of the Budgeting, Procurement and Business Services team whose work is critical to ensure a trusted and capable Commission to shape, build and regulate the public sector.
The team works with staff and external parties to implement budgeting, procurement and contract management services and systems; and deliver exceptional facilities management services.
Our team is now looking for a talented qualified to work with our leaders and deliver effective financial management and budgeting practices.
You’ll partner with Commission managers in preparing state budget papers, and allocating division budgets and cashflow forecasts. You’ll prepare monthly financial reports for Corporate Executive and managers; and work with the Department of Treasury and Finance.
While a professional accounting qualification would be beneficial, we are interested in someone who has strong analytical skills, is curious and can think critically.
